2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4
Mopar Stage 2 kit (Stage 2 PCM and 682cc injectors, minus the turbo toys), a TurboXS SML hybrid blowoff valve, AGP wastegate, and an AGP cold air intake — this 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 was built to feed the boost bug. After years behind the wheel of an '05 automatic V6 Mustang, Stephen wanted something sharper, faster, easier on gas, and — most importantly — a stick shift. The hunt started with supercharged Cobalt SS models, but dead-end Marketplace messages and a literal trash-filled example kept pushing the goalpost. Then, a few weeks before heading back to Midlands Tech, a black SRT-4 popped up in Aiken, just 20 minutes down the road. It had its issues, but one pull — with his grandfather behind the wheel — was all it took. He knew it was the one. It's been a rough year of ownership, with the car spending weeks at a time in the shop for one fix after another. But Stephen's determined to get it to the point where it runs clean every week instead of breaking every other week. That kind of grit is exactly what Intention Driven is about.
